Vanderwal Family Names
John Henry VanderWal had Anna, Henry (Hank) and Cliff with
his first wife
Leila McGregor had Annetta (Nettie)
John’s wife died and Leila’s husband was killed in the
war. Leila began to watch John’s kids,
and eventually they got married.
Together they had Maxine (Mick), Leila (died at 18 months),
Mary, John (Pete), Fred and Gaylord
Mary married Herman J. Boes
Pete married Marge Boes
Fred has a son named Wayne (VanderWal) who we met at South
Lake Tahoe the summer we vacationed there
